Liam’s podcasting story:
Before starting Design Notes, I was definitely not a "podcast person." I listened to only a few podcasts, and co-hosted a weekly show for Android Police, but I still didn’t feel like I was part of the podcast world.
So I started my own podcast not because I wanted to start a podcast, but because I wanted to talk to other designers, other people working on awesome things, because I was curious. And I wanted to record it so that other people could be part of the conversation and learn from what my guests have to say.
After just 14 episodes I’ve learned a lot, met some amazing people, and even worked my way into live streaming with help from one of my guests. It turns out podcasting can be about a lot more than just conversations, and—despite the editing process—it’s a lot of fun.
Liam can help you with questions like:
- What platforms should I distribute my podcast on?
- What’s the easiest way to do that?
- How can I get a good recording with remote guests?
- What are some ways I can prepare guests to be on the show?
